Vibration Testing

AQMAAR offers industry-leading vibration testing services to simulate the rigorous dynamic loads experienced during launch. Utilizing the advanced facilities of the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA), we provide a full suite of vibration qualifications, including sine, random, and shock testing.

Key Capabilities:

• Launch Simulation: Replicates the acoustic and mechanical vibrations of launch vehicles to verify structural integrity.
• Resonance Search: Identifies natural frequencies (modes) of the spacecraft to prevent destructive harmonics.
• Sine & Random Testing: Progressive frequency sweeps and broadband random vibration profiles to stress-test workmanship and secondary structures.
• Multi-Axis Testing: Vertical and horizontal excitation using high-force electrodynamic shakers and large slip tables.

Shaker Capacities:

• 80 kN Shaker: High acceleration for small items/subsystems.
• 160 kN Shaker: Mid-sized subsystems in vertical config.
• Multishaker System: Two 160 kN shakers coupled to a 3.5m x 3m slip table.

Performance Specs:

• Max Payload: Up to 10,000 kg (Horizontal).
• Frequency Range: 5 Hz – 2,000 Hz.
• Data Acquisition: Up to 512 channels for real-time monitoring.

Service Options:

• Sine-on-Random: Combined testing for complex environments.

• Pyro-Shock Simulation: High-frequency transient shock testing to simulate stage separation.
