The VILSA SDR is a versatile, fully reconfigurable Software Defined Radio for the space industry. Purpose-engineered for extreme space conditions, it combines a high-performance digital core with a fully synchronous multi-channel RF front-end, enabling flexible signal processing, high-throughput data handling and in-flight reconfigurability within a single integrated unit.
Its programmable design gives mission engineers the freedom to tailor the system precisely to the mission requirements: operating frequency and other RF-chain parameters on one side; data and control interfaces, digital signal processing chains and onboard software on the other. The VILSA SDR can be paired with dedicated RF front-ends to extend its frequency coverage beyond 7 GHz.
