AQMAAR provides a world-class Satellite Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) service, serving as a one-stop shop for bringing spacecraft from component level to launch readiness. Leveraging the state-of-the-art infrastructure of the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA), we offer a fully controlled, contamination-free environment for the physical and electrical integration of satellite buses ranging from CubeSats to large 2-ton class spacecraft.
Detailed Service Capabilities
Cleanroom Integration:
-
- All activities are conducted in a spacious ISO Class 8 (Class 100,000) cleanroom environment, equipped with ESD-safe flooring, continuous environmental monitoring (Temperature & Humidity), and air showers to ensure the highest standards of planetary protection and hardware safety.
Mechanical Assembly:
-
- We utilize advanced Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), including multi-axis turnover fixtures and precision lifting cranes, to safely handle flight hardware. Our facility allows for the parallel integration of two satellites (up to 600kg each) simultaneously, optimizing schedule efficiency for constellations.
Precision Alignment:
-
- Critical payload sensors and propulsion components are integrated using high-precision laser theodolites (Leica TM6100A), ensuring alignment accuracy to within 0.5 arcseconds. This is vital for optical payloads and attitude control sensors.
Electrical Integration:
-
- Our facility supports full functional verification of the satellite harness, avionics, and payload interfaces. We provide a dedicated Integration Test Laboratory for "FlatSat" validation before final flight mating, reducing risk during the physical build.
End-to-End Campaign Management:
-
- From initial incoming inspection to the final "ship-and-shoot" containerization, AQMAAR manages the entire AIT workflow, including mass property checks (COG/MOI), deployment testing, and environmental qualification.
