Our nadir facing PULSAR-SANT S-Band patch antenna can be incorporated into the CubeSat design. Its small size, low profile, rugged design and high directionality make it an excellent addition to the system.
The PULSAR-SANT and PULSAR-SANTC S-Band patch antennas are designed to be mounted on the nadir facing side of a 3U CubeSat. Their wide beamwidth ensures satellite communication through a wide range of elevation angles.
The PULSAR-SANT/C was built to the CubeSat standard and was designed for advanced missions. It is machined from solid aluminium.
The S-Band patch antenna is compatible with the STX and HSTX S-Band transmitter products sold by AAC Clyde Space.
Frequencies
Covers both amateur (PULSAR-SANT) and commercial (PULSAR-SANTC) transmit frequencies.
Performance
Equipped with high gain (> 7dBi), wide beamwidth (60°). Left and right circularly polarized.
Reliability
Machined from solid aluminium parts. Supporting numerous missions to date; the PULSAR-SANT was part of the UKube-1 mission, the UK Space Agency’s first national spacecraft.
Why the Pulsar-SANT?
- Left or right hand circular polarization
- Simple integration with structure
- High gain (7dBi)
- Supports both amateur and commercial band”
